The Gibson J-45 Standard Antique Natural VOS continues the legacy of Gibson’s most celebrated acoustic. Introduced in 1942 and known as “The Workhorse,” this round-shoulder dreadnought has defined the Gibson acoustic sound for decades. The combination of a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides produces a warm, balanced tone with exceptional dynamic range and projection. The Antique Natural VOS finish adds a vintage-inspired aesthetic with a lightly aged patina.

Construction and Feel

Featuring a mahogany Slim Taper neck and rosewood fingerboard for smooth playability and comfort. Traditional multi-ply top and single-ply back binding accentuate its classic Gibson appearance.

Electronics and Hardware

Equipped with an LR Baggs VTC pickup system with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls. Gold Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons ensure tuning precision. Includes a Gibson hardshell case.
