7-string acoustic western guitar with pickup
Ibanez AEG721-BOT is a 7-string acoustic western guitar with cutaway and built-in electronics. The AEG series features narrow, single-cutaway bodies that provide balanced acoustic tone both unplugged and through an amplifier or PA system.
Construction and materials
The guitar has a spruce top and sapele back and sides for a balanced sound. The neck is a 3-piece Comfort Grip nyatoh neck with satin finish, and the fingerboard and bridge are made of Macassar Ebony.
Electronics and features
AEG721-BOT is equipped with a Fishman Sonicore pickup and AEQ-SP2 preamp with onboard tuner. It offers both balanced XLR output and ¼" output for stage and recording.
Design and details
The single-cutaway AEG body allows easier access to the higher frets. The guitar features Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins, bone and compensated saddle, and Black Die-cast tuners. Finish is Black Out. Strings are D’Addario XTAPB1253 + 070, factory-tuned 1E–7B.
