Klowra Leap Octave is an ultra-compact digital octave pedal with polyphonic tracking, low latency, Freeze, multi-phase detune and a built-in 3-mode filter. Designed to handle both chords and single notes, it can create everything from classic 12-string-style sounds and bass emulation to organ, synth and ambient textures.

Its polyphonic processing provides fast, articulate response even with harmonically complex material, while Freeze lets you hold a sound as a continuous layer and continue playing over it. With detune, filtering and an external footswitch input, Leap Octave works both as a conventional octave effect and as a creative tool for wide, atmospheric soundscapes.

Polyphonic tracking for chords and melodies

Leap Octave works polyphonically and can therefore process multiple notes at the same time. This allows full chords and single-note lines to be played with fast tracking and low latency, without the restrictions associated with monophonic pitch effects.

From 12-string sounds to bass, organ and synth textures

The flexible octave processing can produce bright 12-string-style tones, bass-like sounds using lower octaves and more complex layers inspired by organs and synthesizers.

By combining its processing functions, Leap Octave can also create ambient pads and wider orchestral-style textures.

Freeze for continuous harmonic layers

The Freeze function holds the current sound and creates a continuous tonal layer that you can keep playing over. This makes it particularly useful for ambient music, soundscapes and experimental arrangements.

Multi-phase detune for width and movement

The built-in multi-phase detune introduces subtle pitch variation and movement to the octave layers, creating wider, chorus-like and more orchestral textures while retaining definition.

3-mode filter for tonal shaping

The built-in filter provides three modes for shaping the character of the synthesised octave voices, giving you additional control over how bright, dark or prominent the layers are in the mix.

External footswitch input

A dedicated external footswitch input provides additional control options and makes Leap Octave easier to integrate into a larger pedalboard setup.
