Orange Valve Tester MkII – Automatic Tube Tester

The Orange Valve Tester MkII is developed and manufactured in the UK and is designed to test and match vacuum tubes used in Hi-Fi equipment and tube amplifiers. Tests are performed automatically through a microprocessor-controlled unit, simplifying the process for both technicians and enthusiasts who want to ensure optimal tube performance.

Automatic and User-Friendly Testing

The unit requires no prior knowledge of tube technology. The user simply inserts the tube into the correct socket, selects the type from the display, and presses OK. Internal electronics handle complex measurements and quickly reveal the status of the tube.

Enhanced Performance in the MkII Version

Compared to its predecessor, the MkII features updated algorithms, an expanded test result database, and improved functions such as microphony detection, thermal runaway protection, and grid leakage analysis. It also has a more durable design and improved sockets.

Expandability and Compatibility

With optional expansion modules, the unit can also test directly heated tubes like the 300B, as well as other types such as EF86, EZ80, 6SN7, and GZ34. This makes it versatile for both service use and home setups.
