The EHB1506MS-ABL is a 6-string electric bass from Ibanez’s Bass Workshop series, designed for musicians who demand comfort, tonal range, and modern functionality. Featuring a multiscale setup—35" on the low B string and 32.5" on the high C string—it offers optimized string tension and a more natural playing feel across all six strings. The headless design keeps the instrument lightweight and well-balanced, whether standing or seated.

Premium components and tonal control

The 9-piece roasted panga panga/walnut neck is reinforced with graphite rods for added strength and stability. A bound panga panga fingerboard with abalone offset dot inlays at the 12th and 24th frets combines aesthetics with performance. Dual Nordstrand® Custom Big Split pickups deliver a clear and punchy tone, shaped via the Vari-mid 3-band EQ. The EQ bypass switch allows for passive operation with tone control on the treble knob. A chambered African mahogany body with a poplar burl top provides rich resonance while keeping the weight low.
