Gibson ES-335 Ocean Blue – Semi-hollowbody with classic tone and versatility

The Gibson ES-335 has wowed guitarists worldwide for over six decades. Since its introduction in 1958, it has set an unmatched standard and remains one of the world’s most beloved and versatile electric guitars. From rock and blues to country and metal, the ES-335 can handle it all.

Construction and design

The body is crafted from layered maple/poplar/maple with a solid maple centerblock for excellent sustain, warmth, and resonance, while helping control unwanted feedback. The mahogany neck features a Rounded C profile for comfort and ease of play. The rosewood fingerboard has a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, and acrylic dot inlays. Graph Tech® nut and Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons ensure tuning stability.

Electronics and pickups

Equipped with Calibrated T-Type humbuckers in lead (bridge) and rhythm (neck) positions. Each pickup has individual volume and tone controls with 500k potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors. Three-way pickup selector allows separate or blended pickup use. Control knobs are black Top Hats with silver reflectors.

Hardware

Nickel-plated ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, along with Vintage Deluxe tuners, provide stability and excellent sustain. Single Ply Cream binding completes the aesthetic.

Miscellaneous

A Gibson hardshell case is included for safe transport to gigs and studio.
