Built by the Gibson Custom Shop in close collaboration with Kirk, this model faithfully mirrors the original ʼ89 Custom with all-black hardware, open-coil T-Type humbuckers, and a Fishman Powerbridge piezo system paired with a Powerchip preamp and dedicated volume control for acoustic-style tones. Expertly aged by the Murphy Lab, it perfectly captures the worn look and feel of Kirk’s beloved instrument. A bold tribute to one of metal’s most influential players and his unmistakable sound.
