The Gibson Les Paul Music City Special 50th Anniversary is a modern take on two historical Gibson models, inspired by the 1970s Marauder designed by Bill Lawrence and with a touch of Music City Jr. This unique commemorative model celebrates Gibson's early Nashville production and 50 years of world-class guitar making, offering modern players a highly playable instrument.

Construction and design

The lightweight contoured body is solid poplar. Maple neck with Slim Taper™ profile and striped ebony fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and acrylic dot inlays. 12" fretboard radius allows effortless chords and bends higher up the neck.

Electronics and hardware

Equipped with two Gibson 70s Tribute humbuckers, controlled via master volume, master tone, and 3-way pickup selector. Chrome-plated hardware includes Nashville Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners, and jackplate. Black 5-ply pickguard completes the look.

Miscellaneous

Premium soft shell case included. Available in Ebony, Wine Red, and Tobacco Burst, all with commemorative 50th Anniversary truss rod cover. Limited to 500 units per color.
