The Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble combines all the features of the regular Les Paul Standard 50s model with added vintage character. Limited editions feature uncovered Burstbucker™ and Burstbucker 2 pickups with Double Classic White bobbins and slightly faded "Vintage" nitrocellulose lacquer for an aged look. Each guitar has a unique burst pattern as the finishes are hand-sprayed.

Construction and design

Features a solid mahogany body with an AA figured maple top, a rounded 50s Vintage-style mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and trapezoid inlays. Standard ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and aged Gold Top Hat knobs with dial pointers included.

Electronics and hardware

Uncovered, calibrated Burstbucker™ (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) with Double Classic White bobbins provide elegant vintage tone. Hand-wired with Alnico 2 magnets, Orange Drop® capacitors, and audio taper potentiometers. Controls: 2 Volume, 2 Tone.
