Electric guitar with 80s inspiration

The Gibson Victory reintroduces a model from the 1980s, developed in response to player requests. The guitar is designed for flexible playability and expression, retaining the core features of the original while adding updates for comfort and balance.

Body and neck

The body is made of mahogany with a satin nitrocellulose finish and features a Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece. The set-in mahogany neck has a Slim Taper profile, and the ebony fingerboard has a compound radius with 24 medium jumbo frets. The nut is Graph Tech, and the inlays are acrylic dots. The scale length is 25.5".

Electronics and hardware

The guitar is equipped with two 80s Tribute humbuckers in bridge and neck positions. Push/pull on the master volume allows coil splitting, and push/pull on the tone control enables inner/outer coil selection when split. Together with the three-way switch, this provides a wide range of humbucker and single-coil tones. Hardware includes chrome components, black Top Hat knobs, and Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners.
