Bodywood

All models have very light and very ergonomic bodies of nyatoh which is a wood that is between mahogany and linden in terms of tone. It is similar to mahogany in appearance but is harder and less prone to twisting. The body is ergonomically designed, with very well-balanced and strategically placed chamfers. Combined with the very light weight, this makes the guitars comfortable to play both sitting and standing.

Wood in the neck/fingerboard

Common to all models is that they have a fretboard of roasted birdseye and that the neck is a 3-piece construction of roasted maple and bubinga (2 parts maple and 1 part bubinga). The truss rod in all models is also modern double-action truss rods, which means that it tensiones in both directions.

Q58 humbuckers / R1 singlecoils

Pickups specially designed for these headless guitars. Slightly above medium hot with a clear, distinct tone. Tight and well-defined low register with a fairly bright top. The R1 singlecoil pickups are frequency-balanced singlecoils with extremely low hum. A singlecoil sound that can easily be colored in many different directions whether you play clean or distorted.

Custom stringlock and Mono Tune bridge

The stringlock is a one-piece construction that is very easy to work with in the event of a string break and that holds the string securely in place. The Mono Tune bridge can be best described as each string having its own bridge, they are not connected but are like 6 or 7 bridges sitting next to each other.
Model-specific features on the QX

Slanted frets

All frets are angled at an 8 degree angle, the bass side angled towards the pickups. Same 25.5 scale on all strings. What it does is make soloing higher up the neck easier and more ergonomically correct as the frets follow the natural angle of the wrist.

Parallel Wizard.

The Parallel Wizard has the same thickness across the entire neck instead of getting thicker the further up the neck you go like guitar necks traditionally are. This makes it feel the same playing on 3 frets as on 17 frets. The neck is 19mm thick over its entire length.
