The SA model is like a cross between an S model and a normal-sized guitar with an arched top.

A rounder and softer cut guitar than the more angular RG model.

The SA has a rounder and more C-shaped neck profile than Ibanez usually has, a neck that feels more like a strat.

The body is made of Mahogany, a type of wood that goes towards the slightly warmer and more mid-range sound.
