Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus 12 Fired Red is a modern Pacifica electric guitar designed for players who want comfortable playability, flexible electronics and dependable hardware in a versatile instrument. It features an alder body with Yamaha Acoustic Design resonant routing, a maple neck with a Slim C profile and satin finish, and a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium stainless-steel frets.

The HSS configuration combines two Reflectone HS7 single-coil pickups with a Reflectone HH7b bridge humbucker, developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs. Together with the 5-way selector and push-pull coil split on the Tone control, this provides a broad tonal range from clear single-coil sounds to fuller humbucker tones.

A Gotoh 510T FE-1 two-point tremolo, Gotoh locking tuners and Graph Tech TUSQ nut contribute to stable tuning and a refined playing feel. The Fired Red finish gives the guitar a distinctive modern look, and a gig bag is included.

Alder body with Acoustic Design

The alder body uses Yamaha Acoustic Design resonant routing. The construction is designed to optimise body resonance and provide a balanced, responsive tonal foundation.

Slim C maple neck with satin finish

The maple neck has a Slim C profile for a modern and comfortable playing feel. Its satin finish provides a smooth surface that allows the fretting hand to move easily along the neck.

Rosewood fingerboard with stainless-steel frets

PACS+12 features a rosewood fingerboard with a 350 mm, equivalent to 13.75-inch, radius and 22 medium stainless-steel frets. Stainless-steel frets offer excellent durability and retain their smooth playing feel over time.

Reflectone pickups developed with Rupert Neve Designs

The pickup configuration consists of two Reflectone HS7 single-coils and a Reflectone HH7b bridge humbucker. The pickups were developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs and are designed to provide clear response and a broad usable tonal range.

HSS configuration with 5-way selector and coil split

The 5-way selector provides quick access to different pickup combinations. The bridge humbucker can also be coil-split using the push-pull function on the Tone control, further expanding the guitar's tonal range.

Master Volume with treble bleed

The Master Volume control includes a treble-bleed circuit to help retain clarity and high-frequency response as the volume is reduced.

Gotoh two-point tremolo and locking tuners

The Gotoh 510T FE-1 two-point tremolo is combined with Gotoh locking tuners for stable tuning and straightforward string changes during both conventional playing and tremolo use.

Graph Tech TUSQ nut

The Graph Tech TUSQ nut provides a consistent contact point for the strings and complements the guitar's stable hardware configuration.

Fired Red finish and gig bag

The Fired Red finish gives the guitar a distinctive contemporary look inspired by Southern California. A gig bag is included for transport and storage.
