Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus 12 Ice Blue is a modern Pacifica electric guitar designed for players who want comfortable playability, flexible electronics and dependable hardware in a versatile instrument. It features an alder body, a bolt-on maple neck with a Slim C profile and satin finish, and a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium stainless-steel frets.

The HSS configuration consists of Reflectone HS7n and HS7m single-coil pickups plus a Reflectone HH7b bridge humbucker. Developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs, the pickups are combined with a 5-way selector, Master Volume with a high-pass circuit and Master Tone with push-pull coil split for the bridge humbucker.

A Gotoh 510T FE-1 two-point tremolo, Gotoh locking tuners and Graph Tech TUSQ nut contribute to stable tuning and smooth operation. The Ice Blue version is complemented by a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, and a gig bag is included.

Overview and features

Alder body and classic Pacifica construction

The alder body is combined with a bolt-on maple neck, providing a balanced foundation and the direct playing response associated with the Pacifica series.

Slim C maple neck with satin finish

The maple neck has a Slim C profile and Natural Smooth Satin Polyurethane finish. Neck thickness is 20.0 mm at the first fret and 22.4 mm at the twelfth fret, providing a modern and comfortable feel.

Rosewood fingerboard with stainless-steel frets

The rosewood fingerboard has a 350 mm, equivalent to 13.75-inch, radius and 22 medium stainless-steel frets. Stainless-steel fretwire offers excellent durability and a consistently smooth playing feel.

Reflectone HSS pickups

The guitar is equipped with a Reflectone HS7n single-coil at the neck, HS7m single-coil in the middle and HH7b humbucker at the bridge. Developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs, the pickup set provides a broad range for both clean and driven tones.

5-way selector and push-pull coil split

The pickup configuration is controlled by a 5-way lever switch. The Master Tone control provides push-pull coil split for the bridge humbucker, expanding the tonal options available from the HSS layout.

Master Volume with high-pass circuit

The Master Volume control includes a high-pass circuit that helps retain clarity and high-frequency response as the volume is reduced.

Gotoh 510T FE-1 two-point tremolo

The Gotoh 510T FE-1 is a two-point tremolo with 10.8 mm string spacing. Together with the Gotoh locking tuners, it provides a stable and functional tremolo system.

Graph Tech TUSQ nut

The Graph Tech TUSQ nut provides a consistent contact point for the strings and complements the guitar's stability-focused hardware.

Ice Blue with tortoiseshell pickguard

The Ice Blue version has a gloss polyurethane body finish and a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard for a distinctive visual character.
