The Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus 12M in Sonic Blue is a modern electric guitar that combines exceptional playing comfort with a wide range of guitar tones. Reflectone Pickups Developed with Rupert Neve Designs

The Pacifica Standard Plus 12M features three Reflectone pickups developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs. The neck and middle positions are equipped with HS7n and HS7m single-coil pickups respectively, while the bridge position features a powerful HH7b humbucker. This combination delivers an extensive tonal range, from clear and articulate clean sounds to rich, powerful overdriven tones.

A 5-way pickup selector and a push/pull coil split function provide additional tonal flexibility. The master volume control also features a high-pass circuit that helps preserve high-frequency clarity when the volume is reduced.

Alder Body and Comfortable Maple Neck

The newly designed alder body provides a balanced tonal foundation with excellent resonance and a defined attack. The maple neck features a slim C-shaped profile and a natural smooth satin polyurethane finish for a comfortable and effortless playing experience.

The maple fingerboard has a 350 mm radius and 22 medium stainless steel frets. This combination provides smooth playability for chord work, fast melodic passages and expressive string bending.

Gotoh Hardware for Reliable Tuning Stability

The guitar is fitted with a Gotoh 510T FE-1 tremolo bridge and Gotoh locking tuners. Together, these components provide reliable tuning stability and precise control when using the tremolo arm. A Graph Tech TUSQ nut ensures consistent string contact and contributes to balanced tonal performance.

Sonic Blue Finish and Thoughtful Details

The classic Sonic Blue finish gives the guitar a stylish appearance that complements its modern construction. The body features a gloss polyurethane finish, while the neck's smooth satin finish provides a comfortable playing feel. The guitar comes fitted with D'Addario EXL120 strings and includes a practical gig bag for transportation and storage.
