The Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus 12M in Tobacco Brown Sunburst combines classic guitar design with modern playability and a versatile tonal range. Its newly designed alder body, slim C-shaped maple neck and Reflectone pickups, developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs, deliver a dynamic and well-balanced playing experience. Playability, Sound and Features

Reflectone Pickups Developed with Rupert Neve Designs

The Pacifica Standard Plus 12M features three Reflectone pickups developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs. Two single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions are combined with a powerful HH7b humbucker in the bridge position. This configuration delivers a broad tonal range, from clear and articulate clean sounds to rich, powerful overdriven tones.

The 5-way pickup selector makes it easy to switch between different tonal characteristics. A push/pull function on the tone control activates coil splitting on the bridge humbucker, providing additional tonal versatility. The master volume control also features a high-pass circuit that helps preserve treble clarity when the volume is reduced.

Newly Designed Alder Body and Slim Maple Neck

The newly designed alder body provides a balanced tonal foundation with a defined attack and excellent resonance. The maple neck features a slim C-shaped profile that offers comfortable playability for both chord work and lead playing.

The neck's smooth satin finish provides a natural feel, while the maple fingerboard features a 350 mm radius and 22 medium stainless steel frets. These durable frets contribute to smooth playability with reduced friction during string bending and fast melodic passages.

Gotoh Tremolo and Locking Tuners

The guitar is equipped with a Gotoh 510T FE-1 two-point tremolo bridge and Gotoh locking tuners. Together, these components provide reliable tuning stability and precise control when using the tremolo arm. The Graph Tech TUSQ nut contributes to consistent string contact and balanced tonal performance.

Classic Tobacco Brown Sunburst Finish

The Tobacco Brown Sunburst finish gives the Pacifica Standard Plus 12M a classic and elegant appearance, with smooth transitions between brown and darker shades. The gloss polyurethane finish highlights the guitar's contours, while the neck's natural satin finish complements its modern construction.

The guitar comes fitted with D'Addario EXL120 strings in .009–.042 gauge and includes a gig bag for convenient transportation and storage.
