The Gibson Victory TV combines the DNA of the 1980s original with modern improvements in comfort, balance, and tonal flexibility. It features refined body contours, an Explorer-style headstock, and a satin nitrocellulose finish that allows the mahogany body to resonate naturally.

The Victory TV is designed for versatility and expressive tone shaping. Equipped with two 80s Tribute humbuckers, it offers both full humbucking power and split single-coil clarity. The push/pull master volume and tone controls enable coil-splitting and inner/outer coil selection, providing a wide range of sounds without complicating the control layout.

Construction and materials

The body is made from mahogany with a satin nitro finish for lightweight resonance and a natural feel. The mahogany neck features a Slim Taper profile for smooth playability, while the ebony fingerboard with a compound radius and 24 medium jumbo frets offers excellent comfort across the range. A single-ply binding adds a traditional Gibson look.

Electronics and controls

The guitar is fitted with two 80s Tribute humbuckers connected to a master volume and master tone, both with push/pull functionality. These controls allow selection of inner or outer coils when split, greatly expanding the tonal palette. A three-way toggle switch handles pickup selection.

Hardware and playability

The Victory TV features a Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, and Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners for stable tuning and accurate intonation. Black Top Hat knobs and chrome hardware complete its vintage-inspired look.
