Electric Guitar – Ibanez AZ2407F-SDE Prestige

The Ibanez AZ2407F-SDE is a Prestige series electric guitar made in Japan. It features a basswood body with a flamed maple top and a one-piece S-TECH roasted maple neck. The guitar is equipped with three DiMarzio pickups and an Ibanez T1502S tremolo system.

Neck and Fingerboard

The neck has an oval C profile and is made from S-TECH roasted maple, a nitrogen heat-treated wood process that increases stability and resistance to humidity changes. The fingerboard is also S-TECH roasted maple with abalone dot inlays and luminescent side markers. It has 24 jumbo stainless steel frets with rolled edges for a smooth playing feel.

Body and Neck Joint

The body is constructed from basswood with a 4 mm flamed maple top. It has rounded edges designed for comfort whether playing seated or standing. The neck is attached using Ibanez’s Super All Access Neck Joint, allowing easy access to the upper frets.

Electronics and Hardware

The guitar comes with DiMarzio pickups: Air Norton in the neck position, True Velvet in the middle, and The Tone Zone at the bridge. The tremolo system is the Ibanez T1502S, and tuning machines are Gotoh MG-T.
