The RG8570 J.Custom is part of Ibanez’s J.Custom series, built in Japan with a focus on playability, reliability, and tonal versatility. Designed to meet professional demands, it performs equally well in the studio, on stage, or in any situation where dependable performance is essential.

Construction and Materials

The body is made of African mahogany with a 4 mm AAA flamed maple top, offering a tonal balance of warmth and clarity. The bound Macassar ebony fingerboard features the iconic “Tree of Life” inlay and is mounted on a five-piece Super Wizard HP neck made of maple and wenge – Ibanez’s thinnest and fastest neck profile.

Electronics and Bridge

The guitar is equipped with DiMarzio pickups in an HSS configuration: Air Norton in the neck, True Velvet in the middle, and The Tone Zone in the bridge. This setup delivers a wide tonal range. The Lo-Pro Edge tremolo bridge ensures tuning stability and smooth operation, and it supports the Ultralite Tremolo Arm. A Barless Top-Lok and Gotoh strap lock pins are included as standard.
