Construction and Materials

The RGA27P1PB is part of Ibanez's Premium series and features a body made of American basswood, a tonewood with an even frequency response that works well for both clean and distorted tones. The top is a laminated combination of various woods, including poplar burl, maple, walnut, curly maple, and panga panga, giving each instrument a distinct visual character.

Neck and Fingerboard

This model comes with a five-piece neck-through construction made from maple and walnut, shaped in the Ibanez Wizard-7 profile. The ebony fingerboard is fitted with jumbo stainless steel frets, offering long-term durability and smooth playability. Luminlay side dots provide visibility on dark stages.

Pickups and Electronics

Equipped with two DiMarzio Fusion Edge 7 humbuckers, the guitar offers a broad tonal range. The dyna-MIX10 switching system with Alter Switch allows seamless access to multiple pickup configurations, expanding the instrument’s sound palette.

Additional Features

The Gibraltar Standard III-7 bridge supports stable intonation and solid contact with the body. The guitar is factory-strung with D’Addario EXL110-7 strings and includes a gig bag.
