Construction and Neck

The Ibanez RGA622XH-BK features an African mahogany body that delivers a rich midrange with focus on lows and mids. The neck is a five-piece Wizard HP made of maple and walnut, offering a thin, flat, and fast profile that provides stability and comfort for demanding players. The fretboard is bound Macassar ebony with offset mother of pearl dot inlays. The guitar has 27 jumbo frets, extending playability into the higher registers, combined with a deep and beveled lower horn for easier access to high frets.

Electronics and Hardware

Equipped with DiMarzio pickups, the Air Norton (neck) and The Tone Zone (bridge) deliver high output with a wide dynamic range. A coil-tap switch enables tonal variation by allowing single-coil sounds from both pickups. The Lo-Pro Edge tremolo bridge has a low-profile design with locking studs for tuning stability. Gotoh tuners provide smooth and precise tuning. Luminlay side dots enhance fretboard visibility on dark stages. The guitar comes with a hardcase for protection.
