Electric Guitar with Hardcase – Tom Quayle Signature
Ibanez TQMS1-CTB, Celeste Blue
The TQMS1 is a signature model from Ibanez, developed in collaboration with British jazz/fusion guitarist Tom Quayle. Based on the AZS series, this guitar is tailored for precision-demanding techniques such as hybrid picking and legato.
Neck and Fingerboard
The guitar features a one-piece roasted maple neck with an AZ Oval profile and a rosewood fingerboard. A compound radius provides smooth playability across all positions, while luminescent side dots improve visibility on dark stages. Stainless steel frets with rounded edges offer low resistance and a fluid feel.
Body and Construction
The body combines an alder base with a 4 mm maple top, finished in Celeste Blue. The design balances resonance with ergonomic comfort.
Electronics and Hardware
The pickup setup includes a humbucker in the neck position and a single-coil at the bridge, both made by Seymour Duncan. This configuration enables both warm and articulate tones. A Gotoh T1802 tremolo bridge, locking tuners, and a bone nut ensure tuning stability and precise intonation.
