The ESP LTD EXL Black Metal Black Redburst Satin is a 7-string baritone guitar from the Black Metal II series, developed for modern metal, low tunings and precise, direct playing. The model combines a 27" scale length with Neck-Thru construction, an alder body, three-piece maple neck and a Macassar ebony fingerboard.

The extended baritone scale helps maintain higher string tension and improved definition in the lower register, while the Extra Thin U neck profile and 24 Extra Jumbo stainless steel frets provide a fast and controlled playing feel. The electronics are deliberately stripped back, with a single Seymour Duncan Mortal Coil 7 3-Voice Active pickup in the bridge position and a dedicated switch for selecting between its three voicings.
