Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS02T Fired Red – Electric Guitar with P90-Style Pickups

The Revstar RSS02T is equipped with two VP5 single-coil pickups in P90 style. They deliver a tone that sits between traditional single-coils and humbuckers, combining clarity with fullness. Master volume, tone control, and a push/pull Focus Switch provide additional flexibility to shape your sound.

Neck and Fingerboard

The guitar features a 3-piece mahogany neck with carbon reinforcement and a satin finish for stability and smooth playability. The rosewood fingerboard has 22 jumbo stainless steel frets and a 12" radius, offering both comfort for chords and precision for solos and string bends.

Body and Construction

The chambered mahogany body with a maple top has a glossy polyurethane finish. Yamaha’s Acoustic Design process enhances resonance and reduces weight, creating a balanced playing experience.

Hardware

The RSS02T uses a Tune-O-Matic bridge combined with a custom-designed racing tailpiece for tuning stability and precise intonation. Additional features include die-cast tuners and a 3-ply pickguard.

Transport and Accessories

Supplied with a protective gig bag and strung with Elixir Nanoweb Light (.010–.046).
