Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS02T Sonic Blue – Electric Guitar with P90-Style Pickups

The Revstar Standard RSS02T is equipped with two VP5 single-coil pickups in P90 style, delivering a tone that sits between traditional single-coils and humbuckers, offering both clarity and fullness. With master volume, tone control, and a push/pull Focus Switch, the sound can be further shaped.

Neck and Fingerboard

The guitar features a 3-piece mahogany neck with carbon reinforcement and a satin finish for stability and smooth playability. The rosewood fingerboard has 22 jumbo stainless-steel frets and a 12" radius, combining comfortable chord playing with precise control for solos and bends.

Body and Construction

The body is made of chambered mahogany with a maple top and a glossy polyurethane finish. Built with Yamaha’s Acoustic Design process, it provides enhanced resonance and reduced weight.

Hardware

The RSS02T comes with a Tune-O-Matic bridge and a custom racing tailpiece for tuning stability and precise intonation. Cast tuners and a 3-ply pickguard complete the hardware setup.

Transport and Accessories

Delivered with a protective gigbag and equipped with Elixir Nanoweb Light strings (.010–.046).
