The AEGB30E-NTG is an acoustic bass with built-in electronics, designed with the same body contour as the Ibanez AEG series. Its slightly deeper body delivers a full, resonant tone suited for acoustic performances, studio recording, and practice. The built-in AEQ-2T preamp with tuner provides flexibility across various playing environments.

Construction and Materials

The bass features a spruce top paired with sapele back and sides, creating a balanced tone with clear articulation. The three-piece nyatoh/maple neck with a satin finish offers a smooth playing feel, while the walnut fingerboard and bridge contribute to a natural tonal warmth. Black die-cast tuners provide stable tuning and a cohesive appearance.

Electronics and Features

The AEGB30E is equipped with an Ibanez undersaddle pickup and an AEQ-2T preamp for direct connection to an amplifier or PA system. The preamp includes a built-in tuner for convenient live use. The instrument comes fitted with Ibanez IABS4XC32 carbon-coated strings.
