The Teenage Engineering EP–1320 Medieval is a unique sampler and sequencer that blends modern production tools with an extensive library of authentic medieval sounds, instruments and vocal phrases. Featuring hundreds of built-in samples — from hurdy-gurdys and lutes to Gregorian chants and heavy percussion — EP–1320 creates a fully immersive medieval sound world.

The device includes 128 MB of memory, with 96 MB dedicated to factory medieval content and 32 MB available for user samples. With 6 stereo voices (12 mono), 9 user projects, a built-in microphone and speaker, it enables complete standalone creation.

Where ancient sound meets modern design

EP–1320 offers pressure-sensitive keys, the multifunctional “faedr” controller, and a selection of pocus and punch-in pocus effects for direct creative manipulation. With stereo I/O, sync I/O, MIDI in/out and USB-C, it integrates seamlessly into both studio and live performance setups.
