     A new way to silence for streaming and communication: RAY also gives you a dedicated mute button with clear visual feedback, a feature not seen in other XLR microphones, but the real magic lies in the revolutionary ÒMUTE by DistanceÓ feature. Press a button to easily set a specific distance, at which RAY will automatically turn off/on your signal. Now you can confidently step away from your desk knowing that your audio will mute or go live when you approach the microphone.

     Analog signal path and advanced studio specifications: RAY's gold-backed capsule comes with a cardioid polar pattern that captures everything in front of the mic while rejecting sound coming from behind. RAY has a low self-noise of 8 dB(A), and the ability to handle sound pressure levels of up to 131 dBSPL. The RAY microphone has an analog signal path and a gold-plated 3-pin XLR connector to integrate it with your current sound set-up. All functions are powered via 48V phantom power coming from your audio interface or preamplifier.
     Compact and camera-friendly design: RAY's compact design integrates with the included shock-absorbing mount that reduces low-frequency rumble and structure-borne noise. The camera-friendly pop filter attaches magnetically to the shock mount, ensuring it stays in place. This smart pop filter makes it easier to show your face to the camera, read a script, or look at a screen while using the microphone.
