The Neumann TLM 103 MT is a professional large diaphragm condenser microphone designed for studio recording of vocals, speech and instruments. Its capsule design is derived from the legendary Neumann U 87, combined with transformerless circuitry for a clear and direct sound.

Large diaphragm capsule derived from U 87

The capsule design is based on the classic K67/87 design used in the Neumann U 87. It provides a balanced frequency response with a wide presence boost above 5 kHz.

Transformerless circuitry

The transformerless output stage minimizes signal loss and allows the microphone to handle high sound pressure levels without distortion.

Extremely low self-noise

With only 7 dB-A self-noise, the TLM 103 is among the quietest studio microphones available.
