Yamaha CH8S – compact cymbal holder with 17 cm retractable boom arm

Yamaha CH8S is a compact and robust cymbal holder featuring a 17 cm retractable boom arm, stepless Step-Free Tilter and height adjustment from 43 to 55 cm. It is designed for mounting on compatible tom stands, tom holders and rack clamps, allowing additional cymbals to be added without using another floor stand.

The short boom arm provides a compact solution for positioning cymbals close to other parts of the drum kit. With its Quick Release Nut, Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer and Hinged Boom Tilter Clamp, the CH8S combines convenient handling with flexible and stable cymbal positioning for both stage and studio use.

17 cm retractable boom arm

The 17 cm boom arm is designed for compact cymbal placement and can be retracted into the upper tube when not required. This also allows the CH8S to be used as a straight cymbal holder.

Step-Free Tilter for stepless adjustment

Yamaha's Step-Free Tilter allows the cymbal angle to be adjusted freely without fixed positions. This provides precise control over placement and makes it easy to adapt the cymbal position to your playing style and the rest of the drum kit.

Hinged Boom Tilter Clamp

The Hinged Boom Tilter Clamp grips the boom arm from three sides, providing secure support with relatively little tightening force. An integrated memory lock helps retain the boom arm position between setups.

Quick Release Nut and Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer

The Quick Release Nut allows the cymbal to be installed or removed quickly without threading the nut along the entire cymbal post. The Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer is designed to give the cymbal freedom of movement and allow it to vibrate naturally.
