Yamaha CS8W – professional boom cymbal stand with double-braced legs

Yamaha CS8W is a heavy-duty boom cymbal stand from Yamaha's 800 Series, featuring double-braced legs, a 43 cm retractable boom arm, a stepless Step-Free Tilter and height adjustment from 83 to 159 cm. It is designed for drummers who require high stability, flexible cymbal positioning and dependable performance for rehearsal, live use and studio work.

The retractable boom arm also allows the CS8W to be used as a straight cymbal stand. Combined with the Quick Release Cymbal Nut and Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer, it offers a practical and well-designed solution for fast setup and natural cymbal movement.

43 cm retractable boom arm

The 43 cm boom arm provides plenty of flexibility for cymbal placement and can be retracted into the upper tube when not required. This allows the CS8W to be quickly converted from a boom cymbal stand into a straight cymbal stand.

Double-braced legs for high stability

The CS8W features heavy-duty double-braced legs and large rubber feet for secure support even during energetic playing. The three-section telescopic construction with tube diameters of 28.6 mm, 22.2 mm and 19.1 mm further contributes to a stable and dependable setup.

Step-Free Tilter and Quick Release Cymbal Nut

Yamaha's Step-Free Tilter allows the cymbal angle to be adjusted freely without fixed positions. The Quick Release Cymbal Nut also makes cymbal changes faster and easier than with a traditional wing nut.

Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer

The Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer is a two-piece cymbal washer made from foam and silicone, designed to give the cymbal freedom of movement and allow it to resonate naturally.
