Overview

The DTX-PROX is an advanced drum module that allows drummers to intuitively customize high-quality drum sounds. It features authentic acoustic drum samples recorded in world-renowned studios, including natural room ambience.

With Ambience, Compression, and Effect Kit Modifier knobs, users can quickly create unique drum kit sounds. LED-lit rotary controls provide precise and fast adjustments.

A specially designed headphone amplifier delivers natural audio reproduction. Up to 8 individual audio outputs enable flexible routing. AUX inputs on both front and rear allow connection of external sound sources such as PA systems or music players. USB Class Compliant enables direct connection to computers or smart devices for audio and MIDI data transfer.

Studio-Quality Sounds

DTX-PROX includes 70 preset and 200 user kits with 733 unique voices. New additions include 30 preset kits featuring Yamaha signature sets such as PHX and Recording Custom. The recordings maintain the original character of the drum kits with minimal tuning.

Customizable Effects and Feel

The Effect knob allows adjustment of drum sounds including resonances and snare wire effects. Velocity curves can be finely tuned, and a setting raises the pitch when the hi-hat pedal is pressed deeply.

The Live Set function enables arranging and quick switching between kits, tempos, and backing tracks. Click setups can be customized to suit various playing styles.
