The MOTU M2 is a compact and high-performance USB-C audio interface with 2 inputs and 2 outputs, designed for music production, recording, streaming, and podcasting. With 24-bit/192 kHz AD/DA conversion, low latency, and a clear full-color LCD level display, the M2 delivers studio-grade audio in an easy-to-use format for Mac, Windows, and iOS.

Flexible connectivity and professional performance

The interface features two microphone preamps with individually switchable +48V phantom power, as well as Hi-Z mode for direct instrument connection. Balanced 1/4" TRS outputs, additional RCA outputs, and a separate headphone output with independent volume control make the M2 suitable for both recording and monitoring applications.

The loopback function makes it easy to integrate system audio for streaming and podcasting, while MIDI in/out allows connection of controllers, synthesizers, and other MIDI equipment.

Software and content included

The M2 includes MOTU Performer Lite and Ableton Live Lite, over 100 virtual instruments, multiple plugins, and more than 6 GB of loops and samples to help you get started quickly with production and recording.
