over it from the outset. Add to that Michael Ilbert’s expertly designed
signal chains and recording techniques applied to some of the most
recorded drum kits on the LA scene – curated, tuned and prepped by
someone equally notable on the LA studio circuit: Ross Garfield from
the famed Drum Doctors. The result? An EZX chock-full of drums
with power, grit and attitude – captured in the vibrantly energetic and
reverberant ambience heard on albums by the likes of The Doors,
Maroon 5, Led Zeppelin, Rage Against the Machine and countless more.
