Audioscope 2813-E – 1/3 Octave Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer

The Audioscope 2813-E is a 1/3 octave real-time spectrum analyzer designed for precise monitoring and measurement of sound frequencies from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. It features 31 bandpass filters and a wideband mode, making it suitable for both audio engineering and acoustic measurement applications.

Display and signal management

The 32-column LED display presents frequency levels with 12 LEDs per column. Scale resolution can be set to 1, 2, or 3 dB per LED, and the automatic scaling function adjusts the display according to signal level. Dynamic range display options include 12, 24, or 36 dB.

Inputs and connectivity

The Audioscope 2813-E offers multiple input options: Microphone, Pink Noise, Line L, R, L+R, and L–R. The microphone input is electronically balanced at 600 ohms and provides +12 V phantom power via a 6.3 mm front jack. Recommended microphones are the M100 or M200 models. Line inputs are electronically balanced XLR connectors, with a matching balanced XLR output.

Functions and operation

An integrated pink noise generator is included for calibration and measurement. Integration time can be adjusted between four settings: 1/4 s (Fast+), 1 s (Fast), 4 s (Slow), and Hold mode.

Construction and power

The unit is rack-mounted (3U) and operates on 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz with a power consumption of 55 W. Weight: 6 kg.
