Zoom H6studio – Portable Recorder with Studio-Grade Audio

The Zoom H6studio is a compact, professional portable recorder delivering studio-level audio anywhere. With 32-bit float recording, large XY microphones, four premium preamps and dedicated gain controls, it provides full control over dynamics and sound quality for studio, live and field recording.

Preamps and Audio Capture

The H6studio features Zoom’s F-series preamps with ultra-low noise (−127 dBu EIN) and a wide 132 dB dynamic range. Dual A/D conversion and 32-bit float guarantee clean capture even at extreme SPL levels. The included XYH-5s microphones use 19.4 mm capsules and handle up to 140 dB SPL.

Flexible Recording Formats

Record in 16-bit, 24-bit or 32-bit float. In 32-bit float mode, clipping is impossible and gain staging is unnecessary. Dedicated buttons let you switch formats quickly.

Tracks and Mixing

Record up to eight tracks at once – six individual tracks plus a stereo mix. Sample rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz are supported.
