Construction and details

Crafted entirely from solid okoume, with an X-braced top and matching back and sides, the body produces excellent projection and a warm, resonant tone. The slim “C”-shaped neck features a 25.5” scale and tilt-back 6-in-line headstock, carrying Fender’s unmistakable DNA. A maple rosette and body binding add premium styling, while a bone nut and saddle ensure rich harmonics.

Electronics and hardware

Equipped with the Fishman® Flex Body preamp system, blending an undersaddle piezo with an internal body transducer, the Redondo™ Special offers faithful reproduction of its natural tone when amplified. Vintage-style tuners provide smooth and stable tuning.
