The Gibson J-45 Standard Rosewood carries on the legacy of the world’s best-selling Gibson acoustic, first introduced in 1942. Its round-shouldered dreadnought design produces a warm, balanced tone, while the rosewood back and sides add enhanced bass response and harmonic richness.

Construction and Feel

A solid Sitka spruce top pairs with a mahogany Slim Taper neck and an Indian rosewood fingerboard for excellent comfort and articulation. The result is a versatile guitar suited for both fingerstyle and strumming.

Electronics and Hardware

Outfitted with an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup and preamp system featuring soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls for easy adjustment. Grover Rotomatic tuners ensure reliable tuning stability. Includes a Gibson hardshell case.
