The Ibanez AAM100E-NT is a western-style acoustic guitar with a built-in pickup, developed as part of the Advanced Auditorium series. The series features carefully selected tonewoods and precise craftsmanship to deliver a balanced tone and comfortable playability on stage and in the studio.

Construction and Sound

This model features a solid Sitka spruce top with sapele back and sides, providing a natural and even tone response. The specially designed X-M bracing contributes to a broad tonal range and clear projection, with long sustain suitable for both fingerstyle and pick playing.

Rounded body edges enhance comfort, while the abalone rosette and bone components ensure tuning stability and accurate intonation.

A.I.R. Port System

Equipped with the Ibanez A.I.R. Port (Acoustic Information Response), this model includes a side sound port designed to improve player monitoring. The angled wooden block design directs sound through the port, maintaining natural resonance and clarity.

Electronics and Connectivity

The AAM100E-NT includes a compact AEQ-TP2 preamp with built-in tuner and Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup. The system minimizes impact on the acoustic tone, producing a stable, natural, and noise-free amplified sound. Balanced XLR and 1/4" outputs provide flexible connection options.

Neck and Playability

The thermo-aged African mahogany neck features a low oval profile and rounded fingerboard edges for smooth playability. Combined with a rosewood fingerboard and scalloped bridge, it offers stability and comfort. With a 634 mm scale and 43 mm nut width, it suits both rhythm and lead playing.
