Design and Tone

The AAM300CE-NT is an acoustic guitar with cutaway and pickup, designed for high playability and balanced sound suitable for both studio and stage. The body shape and specially designed X-M bracing provide wide tone and projection, as well as long sustain suitable for both pick and fingerstyle playing.

A.I.R. Port

The guitar features Ibanez’s new A.I.R. Port (Acoustic - Information - Response) for improved monitoring. Sound is projected through a hole in the side aimed at the player using angled wooden blocks, giving clearer reproduction without affecting the acoustic tone.

Materials and Electronics

The top is solid Sitka Spruce with back and sides of African Mahogany. Electronics include a compact active preamp and T-bar undersaddle pickup with volume and tone controls, preserving the acoustic tone while providing stable, natural, and interference-free amplified sound.
