The AAM380CE-NT is an acoustic cutaway guitar with built-in electronics from Ibanez’s Advanced Auditorium series, designed to combine comfortable playability with a natural, balanced tone.

Construction and Materials

The guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top with rosewood back and sides, providing clarity and resonance. Its X-M bracing ensures strong projection and long sustain, suitable for both fingerstyle and pick playing.

A.I.R. Port Design

The innovative A.I.R. Port (Acoustic Information Response) improves player monitoring through an additional sound port facing the performer. The angled wooden insert directs the sound efficiently for a clear and natural listening experience.

Electronics and Features

Equipped with a compact Ibanez Custom Electronics system featuring both undersaddle and contact pickups, the guitar preserves its acoustic tone while offering separate volume controls and mono/stereo outputs for flexible stage and studio use.

Playability and Details

The Thermo-Aged African mahogany neck has a low oval profile and rounded edges on the Macassar ebony fingerboard for a smooth feel. Bone nut and saddle, 18:1 tuning machines, and an ebony bridge provide tuning stability and tonal precision.
