The Ibanez AE410-LGS is a western guitar with pickup and hardcase from the Platinum Collection, featuring a low gloss finish. It is designed for a wide range of playing styles and musical genres, focusing on playability, tonal balance, and sound projection. The construction is based on feedback from professional artists and three years of development.

Tone and construction

The body is made of solid African mahogany and the top of solid Sitka spruce, providing a woody and warm tone with soft response for fingerstyle playing and clear projection with punchy midrange for pick playing. The specially designed X-M bracing combined with back bracing enhances tone projection and sustain, suitable for both solo and ensemble performance.

Electronics and sound system

The AE410-LGS features a compact active preamp and a newly developed magnetic pickup that minimizes the impact on the acoustic sound. It also includes an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and a contact pickup, with separate volume controls and dual outputs for mono or stereo. This setup provides stable, natural, and interference-free plugged-in sound.

Neck and playability

The neck consists of five layers of African mahogany and pau ferro with satin finish and rounded edges on the Macassar ebony fingerboard. Jumbo frets provide flexibility for different playing styles. The scale length is 648 mm with a nut width of 44 mm.

Body and design

The AE body with cutaway offers a comfortable playing position and balanced tone for both studio and stage. Low gloss finish and abalone soundhole rosette complete the design. Macassar ebony bridge with abalone dot bridge pins and chrome die-cast tuners provide durability and precision. Roadtour hardcase included.
