The BTB747-NTL is a 7-string bass in a natural low-gloss finish, designed for players seeking extended range and optimal string tension. With its 889 mm/35" scale length, it delivers clear, articulate low notes and solid tuning stability, even when tuned down.

Neck and Playability

The 9-piece neck-through construction, made from maple, rosewood, and walnut, provides strength and stability. The extended scale adds punch and tightness to the low register, especially for the low B, while the long upper horn ensures excellent balance whether sitting or standing.

Body and Materials

The body is crafted from mahogany and ash with a walnut top. The rosewood fingerboard features abalone dot inlays, 24 frets, and a zero fret for consistent tone and intonation.

Electronics and Hardware

Equipped with Bartolini® BH2 dual-coil pickups, the bass delivers a balanced, defined tone with a tight low end and open mids. The active EQB-IIIS 3-band preamp includes a 3-way mid-frequency switch. The Ibanez Mono-Rail V bridge is designed to isolate each string for optimal resonance and precise adjustment.
