Gibson Charlie Starr Signature Les Paul Junior – Ebony

The Gibson Charlie Starr Les Paul Junior is based on Charlie Starr’s preferred guitar from Blackberry Smoke. The body is made of mahogany with a solid design for even sustain and tonal balance.

Neck and Fingerboard

The neck is mahogany with a 50s Artist Spec profile, digitally scanned from Charlie Starr’s original guitar. The fingerboard is Indian rosewood with 22 frets and acrylic dots. The nut is Graph Tech, 43.05 mm wide, and the scale length is 628.65 mm.

Electronics and Controls

The guitar features a custom overwound P-90 (Dogear) in the bridge position. Tone and volume are controlled by a master volume and master tone, hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors.

Hardware and Accessories

The guitar has an adjustable Wraparound bridge with locking studs and Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons. It comes with a historic Les Paul Junior “Gator Skin” hardshell case, Charlie Starr Signature ceramic slide, and Hey Ya’ll sticker.
