Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble – Vintage Cherry Sunburst
The Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble delivers all the features and performance of the regular Les Paul Standard 60s model, with even more vintage character. This limited edition differs in two key aspects: uncovered Burstbucker™ 61R and 61T pickups with Double Classic White bobbins and Alnico 5 magnets, and a slightly faded "Vintage" nitrocellulose lacquer finish with individually hand-sprayed burst patterns.
Construction and design
Features a solid, non-weight-relieved mahogany body with an AA figured maple top, and a Slim Taper™ mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and trapezoid inlays. Equipped with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with Kidney buttons, and gold Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors and dial pointers.
Electronics and tone
The uncovered Burstbucker™ 61R (neck) and 61T (bridge) pickups provide a lively, articulate tone with true vintage flair. Handcrafted in the Gibson Pickup Shop, loaded with Alnico 5 magnets, and hand-wired with Orange Drop® capacitors and audio taper pots. Controls: 2 Volume, 2 Tone.
