The Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble offers all the tone and performance of the classic Les Paul Standard 60s model, enhanced with distinctive vintage flair. This limited-run model stands out with uncovered Burstbucker™ 61R and 61T pickups featuring Double Classic White bobbins and Alnico 5 magnets, along with a lightly aged “Vintage” nitrocellulose lacquer finish that captures the look of a well-loved instrument. Each burst pattern is individually hand-sprayed.

Construction and design

Built with a solid, non-weight-relieved mahogany body topped with AA figured maple. The SlimTaper™ mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and trapezoid inlays. Hardware includes an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with Kidney buttons, and gold Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors and dial pointers.

Electronics and tone

The uncovered Burstbucker™ 61R (neck) and 61T (bridge) deliver a lively, articulate sound with vintage character. Handcrafted in the Gibson Pickup Shop, loaded with Alnico 5 magnets, and hand-wired with Orange Drop® capacitors and audio taper pots. Controls: 2 Volume, 2 Tone.
