Guild Starfire Custom DC GVT GH Vintage White is a double-cutaway semi-hollow electric guitar from Guild's Newark St. Collection, designed for players who want classic 1960s-inspired character combined with refined modern details. Its arched maple top and back, maple sides and set mahogany neck provide a traditional semi-hollow construction with acoustic resonance and clear electric definition.

Two DeArmond Dynasonic single-coil pickups deliver a bright, punchy and articulate sound with distinctive twang, while individual Volume and Tone controls are complemented by a Master Volume for quick adjustment of the overall output level.

A Guild Tune-o-matic bridge, Guild Vibrato tailpiece, Grover G2TM open-gear tuners and gold hardware are combined with the Vintage White finish and Guild's extensive Custom Trim Package featuring an ebony fingerboard, mother-of-pearl and abalone inlays, binding and decorative purfling.

Double-cutaway semi-hollow construction

Starfire Custom DC features a semi-hollow double-cutaway body with an arched maple top and back and maple sides. The construction provides the airy, woody character associated with classic semi-hollow guitars, while the double-cutaway shape offers good access to the upper frets.

DeArmond Dynasonic single-coil pickups

Dynasonic pickups were originally developed by Harry DeArmond in the 1940s and have a distinctive character compared with many other single-coil designs. They deliver bright highs, punchy attack and strong definition with characteristic twang, making them particularly well suited to the resonant semi-hollow construction.

Individual Volume and Tone controls with Master Volume

Each pickup has its own Volume and Tone control, allowing the neck and bridge pickups to be balanced independently. A separate Master Volume then lets you adjust the guitar's overall level without changing the individual pickup settings.

Vintage Soft U mahogany neck

The set mahogany neck uses Guild's Vintage Soft U profile, providing a substantial yet comfortable playing feel with clear vintage inspiration.
