Schecter C-1 Standard Charcoal Satin

Schecter C-1 Standard Charcoal Satin – electric guitar with ash top and dual humbuckers

Schecter C-1 Standard Charcoal Satin is a 6-string electric guitar with a mahogany body, ash top, bolt-on roasted maple neck and two passive Schecter Diamond Standard humbuckers. With a 25.5-inch scale length, 24 jumbo frets, Thin C neck profile and fixed Diamond Hardtail bridge, it combines modern playability with a versatile sound ranging from clean tones to heavy distortion.

The Charcoal Satin finish gives the guitar a clean, modern appearance while allowing the grain of the ash top to remain visible. Black hardware completes the look, while the familiar C-1 body shape with double cutaways provides easy access to the upper frets.

Overview and features

Mahogany body with ash top

The body is built from mahogany with an ash top. This combination provides a solid foundation for a full guitar sound with clear attack and good definition, while the Charcoal Satin finish gives the instrument a restrained modern appearance.

Roasted maple neck with Thin C profile

The bolt-on neck is made from roasted maple and uses Schecter's Thin C profile for a fast and comfortable playing feel. The rosewood fingerboard has a 14-inch radius and 24 jumbo frets, providing plenty of room for bends, vibrato and fast position changes.

The 25.5-inch scale length provides familiar string tension and clear attack, making it suitable for both standard tuning and alternative tunings.

Two Schecter Diamond Standard humbuckers

The C-1 Standard Charcoal Satin is fitted with two passive Schecter Diamond Standard humbuckers with black metal covers. The bridge pickup provides clear attack and good note separation for riffs and driven tones, while the neck pickup delivers a fuller, smoother sound for lead playing and clean tones.

Controls consist of Master Volume, Master Tone and a 3-way pickup selector, allowing quick selection of the bridge pickup, neck pickup or both together.

Diamond Hardtail with String-Thru-Body

The fixed Schecter Diamond Hardtail bridge is combined with String-Thru-Body construction for a stable setup, direct response and good sustain. Together with Schecter tuners and a 42 mm graphite nut, it provides a dependable system that is easy to maintain and retune.

A versatile Standard Series model

With dual humbuckers, a Thin C neck profile, fixed bridge and 24 jumbo frets, the C-1 Standard is designed to work across a wide range of styles. It is suitable both for players looking for their first serious electric guitar and experienced guitarists who need a dependable instrument for practice, recording and live use.
