The PT Standard is based on Schecter's classic T-inspired single-cutaway body shape. The body is made from mahogany and features a decorative figured burl top, giving each instrument an individual appearance beneath the dark Black Fade Burst Burl finish.

Roasted maple neck with Thin C profile

The bolt-on neck is made from roasted maple and uses Schecter's Thin C profile for a fast and comfortable playing feel. The rosewood fingerboard has a 14-inch radius and 22 jumbo frets, providing plenty of room for chord work, bends and lead playing.

The 25.5-inch scale length provides familiar string tension and clear attack, making the guitar well suited to both standard and alternative tunings.

Two Schecter Diamond Standard humbuckers

The PT Standard Black Fade Burst Burl is fitted with two passive Schecter Diamond Standard humbuckers with black metal covers. The bridge pickup provides clear attack and good note separation for riffs and driven tones, while the neck pickup offers a fuller, smoother sound for lead work and clean tones.

Controls consist of Master Volume, Master Tone and a 3-way pickup selector, allowing quick selection of the bridge pickup, neck pickup or both together.
