Electric Guitar with Hardcase – Stephan Forté Signature
Ibanez SFS727 – 7-String, 27 Frets
The SFS727 is a 7-string signature model developed in collaboration with French guitarist Stephan Forté. Designed to meet the demands of highly technical and fast playing, it features 27 frets for extended range and a construction focused on precision and full fretboard access.
Neck and Fretboard
The 5-piece maple/wenge neck offers stability and durability. The bound rosewood fretboard features reversed black sharktooth inlays. With a 648 mm scale length and a 430 mm radius, the instrument is suited for both chord work and lead playing. The 27 jumbo stainless steel frets are rounded for smooth playability.
Body and Construction
The basswood body with a flamed maple top combines light weight with a balanced tone. The design ensures unobstructed access to the upper frets.
Electronics and Hardware
Equipped with two Seymour Duncan humbuckers – a 7-string Hot Rails in the neck position and a Nazgûl at the bridge – the guitar delivers a wide tonal spectrum from articulate leads to heavier, more aggressive sounds.
The Ibanez Lo-Pro Edge 7 tremolo system, paired with Gotoh tuners, provides tuning stability and reliable performance.
